Whirlwind First trip back to the USA

Margaret had many(too many) adventures in the USA over the 5 weeks she was there.. I had loads of fun cuddling with 6 mo old Charlie and seeing all the other much loved grandkids...I loved being with all my kids at one point or another. Peter is becoming quite the photographer through his college studies in Charleston. Niece Presley ate up all her uncle's firsthand photography pointers to her. I had 2 days in Greenville  checking on our house and seeing friends ;then on to Dacula, GA(Caroline's home) for a week; then back to Greenville once again( for an ever so wonderful  old Shepherding Group Reunion); then on  Charlotte(Andrew's home) & PA to get Jessica's kids ; then back to Charlotte for 2 more days where Andrew and Carrie gave the Oumaoru kids such sweet undivided, creative, focused attention; then off to Dayspring Cottage in Brevard NC for 6  memorable days; then back to Dacula  for a few days of swimming and cousin time; then another the quick stop in Greenvlle and then again to Charlotte for 2 more lovely days ; then Oumarou kids and I flew to Boston where I stayed with Mother Day for a week and saw some of  the Osborne family in Pittsfield NH..which is always a royal treat.  I unfortunately picked up a horrific southern cold which I more unfortuantely gave to Mother Day half way through my week with her. Mother Day and I  were able to still squeeze in fun days going out an Essex River boat ride and also a day trip to Ogunquit Maine for lobster rolls at a waterfront restautant....Beauty all around us on the rugged , rocky Maine coast. Mother and I had to make the family traditional stop at Benson's Ice Cream in West Boxford....Yummy but expensive $3.95 for half a scoop. Finally, last Sunday night it was time to fly home, The Ouarous sqaw me off at the Logan airport...So across the pond I came  back to home .....fairly sick and exhausted.  I brought back many wonderful treasures of memories.
